While most people in the New Orleans area were attending Mardi Gras parades, the Crusader basketball team spent the afternoon traveling to Zachary to open the state basketball playoffs. The Crusaders prevailed by a score of 57-53. Their next game will be this Friday, February 24th in the Conlin Gym against East St. John at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $7 at the door. Come out to support the ‘Saders as they advance through the playoffs.
