The Brother Martin community gathered in the Robert M. Conlin Gymnasium for our Easter Liturgy. Our celebrant was Father Gregg Grovenburg, a Jesuit priest who serves as Loyola University’s Minister for Faith Formation and Sacraments as a Chaplain of the school’s athletic teams. He used the celebratory image of the cross draped with white bunting in the center of the gym to remind us of new life centered in Christ and to always subordinate the “me” in our lives to the “we” in our lives. The Crusader Band, choir, and Praise and Worship music groups added to the joyous tone of the Mass.
