Juniors Bring Ultimate Frisbee to Brother Martin

ultimate-frisbeeUltimate Frisbee is a new club at Brother Martin this year. The club was founded by four juniors: Corey Johnson, Caleb DeGarmo, Ryker John Emnace, and Joel Bourgeois. They played during their unstructured period last year and noticed an interest among other students who asked to join in. They wanted to form the Ultimate Frisbee Club to bring this challenging and fun sport to all Brother Martin students.

The club’s moderator is Mr. Ryan Gray, and practices are held on Monday and Thursday from 3:30 p.m. -5 p.m. at the City Park Practice Track.

The Ultimate Frisbee Club is open to all grades (8th – 12th). Ultimate Frisbee is a challenging non-contact sport, and the club promotes a culture of inclusiveness for all students. The club will compete throughout the year against groups from other area high schools.
