Seniors, juniors, and sophomores arrived back on campus for the 2016 Orientation on Wednesday, August 12, 2016. They were greeted by faculty and staff as they waited in line for student ID photos, school materials, and textbooks. The seniors were also able to stop by the Jostens’ table for various graduation materials in preparation for senior festivities that will occur throughout the school year. Prior to the 8th and 9th grade orientation that was held on Thursday, August 13, 2016, 8th and 9th graders attended a mandatory new student technology orientation given by Technology Coordinator Craig Zeller ‘02 and Assistant Technology Coordinator Kevin Caparotta ’88. They were educated on various technology procedures and policies for use in the classroom.
On Friday, August 14, 2016, 8th and 9th grade Crusaders arrived back on campus, kicking off the 2016- 2017 school year. Faculty and Student Ambassadors were present to direct students to their classrooms for roll call. Then, they began their day with class level meetings that consisted of a prayer service and information on policy and procedures from the administration. At the end of the day the students were treated to a pep rally put on by the Student Council, Crusader Band, and guest faculty speakers in the Robert M. Conlin Gymnasium.
