Congratulations to members of the Crusader Band for being appointed to the LMEA District VI Senior and Junior High Bands. Auditions were held at Grace King High School on Saturday, December 10, 2016. These students prepared a collection of scales, études, and sight reading before a group of professional musicians/judges who scored and rated them on their performance. The highest rated students were chosen for the Honor Bands, an achievement that can be used to enhance scholarship opportunities and other musical honors.
