“Ever since the beginning of my wrestling career at Brother Martin, I had always dreamed of being able to eventually lead the team as a captain, not for the accolade but to help inspire the future leaders and athletes in the program. I drew this inspiration mainly from the previous captains and various leaders of the Brother Martin Wrestling program and hope to do the same with the younger athletes on the team,” Team captain Alex Duncan ‘20 continued, “As a senior on the team, it is breathtaking to see how far I've journeyed and to see the multitude of friends and relationships I've gained through the sport and the community at Brother Martin. Although this year may be my final year with teammates, I look at this year with confidence and high hopes of making it the best season of my career. As for this upcoming season, I have no doubt in our team as we return three state champions and two finalists with many other hardworking talents on the team this season. All in all, I am looking forward to this season and am proud to represent the Crusaders in my final year.”

Congratulations to each of them and best of luck to our Crusaders as they vie for their 20th state championship this season!
