Congratulations to the eight wrestlers of the 2015-2016 State Championship team who were named to The New Orleans Advocate’s All-Metro wrestling team. The Crusaders captured its fifth consecutive Division I wrestling team title at the 2016 LHSAA State Wrestling Championships.
First Team:
Luke Cotton ’18
Cotton won the Division I championship in the 106-pound weight class.
Steven Shields ’17 (Captain)
Shields won the Division I title (his third straight) in the 120-pound weight class.
Pierce Williams ’16 (Captain)
Williams won the Division I championship in the 170-pound weight class.
Jacob Clapp ’16 (Captain)
Clapp won the Division I championship in the 220-pound weight class.
