Congratulations to the members of the Crusader Track & Field program who participated in the Archbishop Rummel Classic at Tad Gormley on Thursday evening. Performing well in the meet were Seniors Josh Moore, Stephen Kelley, Benton Brown, Matt Guidry, Brandt Becnel, Shelby Campbell, and Patrick Quebedeaux; Juniors Mark Mangum and Jared Robinson; Sophomore Jonathan Fry; and Freshman sensation Derek Delahoussaye. A special congratulations to Senior Dominic Casadaban on breaking the school record in the pole vault. Dominic soared to a height of 14′ 2″ to break the record previously held by Erik Hanson.
The varsity team will travel to Baton Rouge this weekend to participate in the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Meet at Catholic High while the JH/JV will participate in the Rummel meet at Rummel.
