The Brother Martin class of 2024 gathered in the Tom and Gayle Benson Mall today to take its sophomore writing assessments, which is the culmination of work that began in the first quarter of this school year. Our sophomores practiced all year, learning how to design an essay, how to illustrate the essay graphically, and how to communicate the points of their argument effectively.  Throughout the year, our Crusaders examined sample model essays from years past to glean insights so that they may hone their craft. This year, our Crusaders were taught the importance of the counter-argument and how effective a properly orchestrated counter-argument can be.

We are proud of all our sophomores for taking the time and applying themselves in this program for the purpose of becoming more effective writers and communicators!
