Crusader Soccer Takes Down Franklin

The Crusaders took advantage early resulting in a 4-1 victory over Ben Franklin.  The scoring started in the 13th minute as Cristian Canales delivered a ball into the box off a corner, and Mark Mangum headed in it in for the game’s first goal. A minute later, Brooks made the score 2-0 after stealing the ball in the midfield.

In the 16th minute, Brooks provided the service on a cross into the box, and Ryan Guilbeau directed it into the net to give the Crusaders a 3-0 lead. John Fourcade scored the final goal on a header that floated just under the crossbar and inside the far post. Adam Rodriguez provided the assist off a corner kick.

The Crusaders’ next game will be against Archbishop Rummel on Saturday.  Kick-off is set for 2:30 at Audubon Field B.
