The Brother Martin Rugby team beat Jesuit on Sunday in City Park 32-0. The Crusader rugby team opened quickly scoring within the first 5 minutes of the game. The Crusaders kept constant pressure on the Blue Jays on defense and moved the ball from sideline to sideline while maintaining possession of the ball on offense. The Crusaders refused to let Jesuit cross the try line while they scored three more tries before half. Ryan Baldassaro was able to convert one of the tries and the halftime score stood at 22-0. In the second half Jesuit’s defense stiffened but Brother Martin was able to put in two more tries before the final whistle to win 32-0. The Crusaders were led by Captains, Joe Caravella and Conner Glennon as well as by Bruce Cuccia who scored two tries.
