This past summer, senior golfer Nick Wessel was awarded, through the Kelly Gibson Foundation, the BC Cup Foundation Junior Golf Scholarship Award. There were over 140 golfers and 20 scholarships awarded. Nick was awarded the BC Cup Foundation Scholarship for $3000 at the Kelly Gibson Foundation Awards Banquet in New Orleans. In its 19th year, this scholarship is awarded in recognition of outstanding accomplishments in sportsmanship, scholastic achievement and community service and dedication to the game of golf.
The Kelly Gibson Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation whose mission is to create a positive learning experience through golf by providing competitive golf tournaments to improve the junior golfers game and help them become a better competitor.
