Tyler Lally ’18 wowed the crowd this past weekend at the Southeastern Louisiana University team camp as he scored 38 points in route to a 64 – 47 victory over the Donaldsonville Tigers. Lally finished the game 10 for 11 for three-pointers and 14 for 16 overall.
Head coach Chris Biehl was impressed with his performance. “What makes Tyler’s performance remarkable is that he accomplished this feat in a running-clock game. 38 points in a regular season game is exceptional, but to do it in a game when the clock does not stop is unheard of. Furthermore, we play everybody during the summer, so Tyler did not even play the entire game, ” said Biehl.
Tyler Lally’s performance was the the highlight for a very successful start for the Crusaders, who have played most of their games this summer without any of their returning starters. The Crusaders are off to an 8 – 2 start this summer for team camps and games.
