The Varsity Basketball team traveled to Lafayette to participate in the 2014 Sunkist Shootout Tournament. Brother Martin opened the tournament with a 70-47 win over St. Thomas Aquinas on Friday followed by a 67-32 win over Carencro on Saturday. The Crusaders (10-4) won again in their Sunday match-up against St. Thomas More by a score of 61-50 to reach the finals. Brother Martin would finish 8 points shy of the victory against St. Augustine in the championship match on Monday, December 29th.
The Crusaders are back in action on January 3rd in Baton Rouge against Christian Life Academy. JV tips off at 1:30 with the Varsity team to follow.
