Brother Martin won 83-67 against Holy Cross on Friday night in the Conlin Gym with the help of TJ Small '20, who scored 37 points. Small had a great game from the field, making 59% (10-for-17) of shots attempted as well as 44% (4-for-9) of threes attempted. He also shot well from the line, making 93% (13-for-14) of free throws attempted. Two other players also scored in the double digits for Brother Martin. Brock Ranlett '21 had 18 points and Davonn Moore '20 scored 12 points. Also chipping in for Brother Martin were Grant Delord '21 (8 points, 3 rebounds), Steven Louis '20 (5 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal), and Corey Skillman '23 (2 points, 2 rebounds). Ranlett was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up five rebounds, four steals, and one block.
With the win, the Crusaders advance to the state semi-finals. The team will travel to nationally-ranked Scotlandville on Wednesday night. Tip-off will be at 7:00 P.M.
