Crusader Baseball Celebrates 2018 Convocation

On Wednesday, May 16, The Athletics Departments hosted a convocation in the Brother Mark Thornton Terrace honoring the Crusader baseball program. Coaches Matt Lambert ’98 (eighth grade), Stephen Lewis ’03 (ninth grade), Bill Gallagher ’71 (junior varsity), and Jeff Lupo ‘92 (varsity), spoke on behalf of their teams and highlighted accomplishments throughout the season. The varsity baseball team finished their season with a record of 18-16 which included an appearance in the Division I state quarterfinals. Congratulations to all of the Crusader baseball teams for a great season!

Captain Award:  Brady Faust ’19 and Brendan Brown ’18

Gold Glove:  Jake Dickinson ’19

Most Valuable Hitter:  Joe Delaney ’20

Most Valuable Pitcher:  Brandon Bonura ’19

Coaches’ Award:  Caden Nash ’19

Most Valuable Player:  Joe Delaney ’20

David Voiron Memorial Award: Jackson Coletti ’18
