On April 28th, the Conlin Gym hosted the annual Crusader Band Spring Concert. The evening opened up with the Symphonic Band performing songs by Harold Bennett, Michael Sweeney, and Klaus Badelt. Following, the stage band performed with arrangements of “Runaway Baby” by Bruno Mars all the way to “Hurricane Season” by Trombone Shorty. To conclude the concert program, the concert band performed songs by John Philip Sousa, Samuel Hazo (conducted by Ms. Andres Garcés, Resident Teacher from Loyola University New Orleans), and Alan Silvestri arranged by Logan Millet '22 and conducted by Darren Martino '21. Concluding the performances, the bandsmen performed "Inner Light" from Destiny 2 arranged and conducted by Anthony DiLorenzo '21.
Throughout the concert program, Mr. Dominick Caronna ‘85 and Mr. Christopher Bailey ‘86 recognized several students for their distinct band awards.

During the school day, our beginner band performed their spring concert via livestream for family and friends to tune in and enjoy. Congratulations to all of our beginner bandsmen for completing their first year as a part of the Crusader Band!
