Congratulations to our Crusader alumni from Brother Martin High School on winning various journalism and media awards at the Press Club of New Orleans 62nd Annual Excellence in Journalism Awards Gala. This year, the event was live-streamed from the J. Michael Early Studio at the Loyola University New Orleans School of Communication and Design and produced by Loyola student journalists.
The Press Club of New Orleans is composed of media professionals dedicated to improving the professional skills of people in the industry.
Notable alumni consisted of Chef Kevin Belton ’77, Robert Berning III ’97, Greg Buisson ’77, Eric Carle, Jr. ’93, Sean Fazende ’99, Aubry Killion ‘07, Danny Monteverde '03, and Doug Mouton ’81. These alumni all placed in various categories for their work in journalism, public relations, social media, television, etc.
