The Mandeville/Covington Chapter gathered for the first time in over two years on Thursday, November 11th at the Columbia St. Tap Room. Alumni and guests enjoyed complimentary food and soft drinks while sharing stories and “catching up”. Alumni Director Kenny Spellman ’84 welcomed everyone, thanked Alumni Veterans for their service on Veterans Day, gave school updates, and invited all to visit campus. Academic Assistant Principal Debbie Broussard and her husband Mike Broussard ’69 SA were in attendance. After a group photo, Joe Macaluso ’45 played a rousing rendition of the fight song as everyone sang along.
There are over 1,300 alumni residing in the Mandeville/Covington area and future events are in the plans.
