IMG_0041The Crusaders won all three divisions in convincing fashion, saw numerous personal bests throughout the day, and we even had more records fall as Marco Perez ’18 set a new Junior High record for 2 miles as well as a City Park course record (10:29) at this weekend’s Jack Schommer Invitational. The Crusaders put 11 runners in the Top 20 and 7 in the Top 10 with Cody Dick, Cade Litolff, Zachary Stolberg, Matthaeus Dischner, Ethan Meydrich, Jack Rau, Connor Damare, and Jeremy Baier following Marco Perez to take places 4-6 and 8-12.

In the Junior Varsity race, Ian Sigl etched his name as a two-time winner of the Jack Schommer Invitational in 17:38. Bradley Spinnato, Niels Dickson, Zander Hildreth, and Joseph Porche’ finished in the Top 5 to complete the perfect score for the Crusaders.

In the Varsity competition, Freshman Tyler Epps made his three-mile debut and finished 4th overall in a time of 16:55 to lead the Crusaders to victory.
