The Brother Martin Cross Country team has secured their spot in the Nola.com New Orleans-area boys cross country rankings for another week. Brother Martin, previously ranked #4, jumped into the #3 spot after defeating St. Paul’s in the Christian Brothers Invitational, 43-50. This was the first time the Crusaders have run their full top five, as No. 4 Mason Williams (13 th overall, 16:44.20) made his varsity debut.
As for individuals, Hayden Courrege’ and Chace Edwards continue to battle each other for the #3 spot. Courrege’ jumped up to area #3 from #5 after a strong runner-up performance at the Christian Brothers Invitational dropping teammate Edwards to #4.
