Congratulations to the Brother Martin Cross Country team for finishing as Runner-Up yesterday in the state championship meet with 70 points behind Catholic High's 47 points. Battling through arguably the worst and toughest course conditions in state history, senior Hunter Appleton led the charge as the individual state champion. This was the first time a Crusader Harrier has won the individual championship in over 45 years.
Senior Cade Litolff (11th place), freshman Mason Appleton (15th place), senior Michael Champagne (21st place), and freshman Landon Sequeira (26th place) scored for the team. This 2nd place team finish was truly a team effort. Overall for this season, Brother Martin Cross Country are District Champions, Regional Champions and State Runner-Up. Congratulations on a hardworking and phenomenal season, Crusader Harriers!
