250 elementary and middle school boys attended the first ever Crimson and Gold Night on Brother Martin’s campus this past weekend. Outfitted with a festive Crusader t-shirt, the students enjoyed a variety of outdoor and indoor activities, including volleyball, badminton, and four square, as well as a gym full of “minute-to-win-it” games. They also enjoyed pizza, chips, and cookies in the Benson Mall and had Crusader posters signed by Crusader alumni who played college and professional sports. The evening ended with prizes and then a bus ride to the Brother Martin–Rummel baseball game at Kirsch Rooney, where the crowd watched the Crusaders expand their winning streak to 11 games, with a 2-1 victory over the Raiders. Thank you to all of these young boys who experienced the Crusader spirit!
