The Mercedes-Benz Superdome was awash in crimson and gold lighting this Saturday night as 648 Crusaders and their dates enjoyed the “super lounge” dance venue for this year’s Homecoming Dance. Pop music from DJ Bruce Roussel, along with DJ Wild Wayne, got the students on their feet, with the dance floor thronged with 8th graders through seniors. At 9:30, the homecoming court was presented, each young woman escorted by a Crusader football player. A special dance for the court and their dates followed. Thanks to all the parent and faculty volunteers who helped make the night safe and enjoyable for all of our students.
