Crescent City Sports to Livestream Brother Martin-Rummel Baseball Tuesday

NEW ORLEANS – Crescent City Sports continues its live streaming coverage of high school baseball Tuesday night with a District 9-5A matchup between Brother Martin and Archbishop Rummel.

CCS’ coverage will begin just prior to the 6 p.m. first pitch from Kirsch-Rooney Stadium in New Orleans. Ken Trahan, Kenny Francingues and Kirk Bullinger will describe the action, which will be simulcast on radio by NASH ICON 106.1 FM.

Tuesday night’s game is the finale of a two-game district series between the Crusaders (12-6 prior to a Monday night game against St. Augustine) and Raiders (13-3).

On Friday, Jake Cabeceiras’ grand slam keyed a seven-run fifth inning and Brock Bullinger allowed three hits over six innings as Rummel defeated Brother Martin 7-1 in the Catholic League opener for both teams, also at Kirsch-Rooney.

Historically, the programs are two of the best in the top classification of Louisiana high school baseball, combining to win seven state championships and play in 15 title games.

As of Monday, Rummel is fourth in the official LHSAA Division I power ratings, while Brother Martin is seventh.

The Crescent City Sports team is in its 10th season of producing live broadcasts for television and internet, having produced broadcasts of more than 300 live games since 2012, and is continuing its extensive commitment to prep sports coverage on its website for 2020-21. Additionally, in cooperation with Cox Sports Television, CCS will also produce additional events that will both be televised on CST and streamed on the site.
