Crescent City Sports’ extensive live streaming coverage of high school sports for 2019-20 continues with a Division I football semifinal between Brother Martin and Archbishop Rummel Friday night.

The Crusaders and Raiders meet for the second time this season at 7 p.m. Friday at Joe Yenni Stadium in Metairie. CCS’ coverage will begin at 6:45 p.m. The game audio will be simulcast on 106.1 NASH ICON in New Orleans as part of Ken Trahan’s Original Prep Football Report and can also be viewed through the LHSAA Live App. Trahan, Phil Greco and Lenny Vangilder will describe the action.

Brother Martin (9-2), the No. 4 seed in the Division I bracket, had an opening-round bye and defeated Scotlandville 46-13 in a quarterfinal game last Friday at Tad Gormley Stadium. The Crusaders are in the semifinals for the first time since 2016 and seeking their first title-game appearance in three decades.

No. 1-seeded Rummel (11-0) also had an opening-round bye. The Raiders rallied in the final minute to defeat St. Augustine 35-34 last Friday at Joe Yenni Stadium. Rummel is seeking its fifth trip to a state championship game in 11 years.

Both teams were unbeaten heading into the regular-season meeting on October 12 at Yenni, when the Raiders took a 30-0 victory over the Crusaders.

The Brother Martin-Rummel winner will meet the survivor of the other semifinal between John Curtis Christian and Catholic High for the Division I championship next weekend.

The Crescent City Sports team has produced more than 300 live streams since 2012 and will feature live streaming of no fewer than 30 high school sporting events throughout the 2019-20 school year. Additionally, in cooperation with Cox Sports Television, CCS will also produce up to 10 more events that will both be televised on CST and streamed on the site.
