Crescent City Sports to live stream Brother Martin-Holy Cross boys basketball playoff game Friday
Crescent City Sports’ extensive live streaming coverage of high school sports continues Friday night with a Division I boys basketball quarterfinal match up between District 9-5A and neighborhood rivals Brother Martin and Holy Cross.
The Crusaders and Tigers face off for the third time this season Friday at 7 p.m. from the Holy Cross campus. CCS’ coverage will begin just prior to tip-off.
Holy Cross, the No. 3 seed, had a bye into the quarterfinals in the 12-team Division I bracket. Sixth-seeded Brother Martin defeated Archbishop Rummel 49-25 on Tuesday to advance to the quarterfinals.
The Tigers swept the regular-season series with the Crusaders, winning 59-49 at home on Jan. 5 and 56-54 at Brother Martin on Jan. 29.
Friday’s winner advances to the semifinals against either St. Augustine or Archbishop Shaw next week in Lake Charles.
Crescent City Sports will feature live streaming of no fewer than 30 high school sporting events throughout the 2018-19 school year. Additionally, in cooperation with Cox Sports Television, CCS will also produce up to 10 more events that will both be televised on CST and streamed on the site.
