The Class of 2013 bids farewell to Brother Martin with an event-filled last week of classes and celebrations. Memories from their grammar schools were evident with the grammar school shirts they wore– many quite small, but grammar school pride nonetheless! Looking to the future, Crusaders will be attending a wide array colleges and universities, as was evident with the shirts they wore on Wednesday. Thursday brought many faculty look-alikes to campus including the likenesses of Mr. Joyner, Mr. Fleetwood, Mr. Coats, among others. Friday’s 4:30 a.m. arrival was a great way to start their last day, Senior Field Day, early! Seniors participated in activities outdoors, competed in the Conlin and Aloysius Gyms, relaxed and hung-out in the Terrace, and ate 50 dozen donuts prior to the official 7:55 a.m.start of the school day. After an activity-filled morning, ‘take-out’ lunch brought into the Benson Mall was a great way to end an outstanding Brother Martin experience! Congratulations to the Class of 2013. You will forever be Crusaders!
