On Friday, June 15, the Class of 1973 celebrated their 45-year Reunion. The reunion committee consisted of Dave Glaviano, Johnny LeBourgeois, Jerry Muller & Guy Valvis. The committee and classmates gathered for a wonderful evening in the lobby of the Roland H. & Macy Paton Meyer Science and Mathematics Building, on Brother Martin’s campus, with over 50 Crusader alumni. This ‘spirited’ class is remembered for being the first 4-year class of Brother Martin High School and has been heavily involved since their graduation year.
Alumni were also amazed to get back on campus to see the numerous ongoing improvements occurring on campus. Alumni were even excited to see members of the faculty such as Director of Alumni Scott Corrente ’83 and Bro. Neal Golden ’57 CJ. During the event, guests were served mini muffulettas, finger sandwiches, pasta, salad, jambalaya, and bread pudding prepared by Pigéon Catering and Events. Ralph Romaguera, Jr. ‘90 of Romaguera Photography was also on hand to capture a class photo of these spirited men. Closing out the evening, the committee and the Brother Martin staff thanked the Class of 1973 while encouraging them to stay involved with their alma mater!
In addition, the Class of 1973 and guests were invited to continue the celebration at a ‘Family Reunion Party’ held at Rock ‘N’ Bowl on Saturday night.
Thank you to the members of the Class of 1973 for attending the reunion and being part of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Alumni Association!
