The Class of 2018 enjoyed their second quarter Senior Lunch, sponsored by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Alumni Association. The second lunch, held on Thursday, December 14 in the Bro. Mark Thornton Terrace, was a time for the seniors to come together at the end of the semester and have a special lunch with just their classmates before exams.
Various senior parents, faculty, and staff were on hand to help make this a great experience for the Class of 2018. The seniors were treated, buffet-style, to a hearty meal of turkey, potatoes, stuffing, salad, dinner rolls, and dessert. The seniors filled the tables, during 4th and 5th periods, with laughter and smiles; celebrating the end of their first semester of senior year.
“Senior Lunch was a great experience and opportunity to get to know other classmates that I didn’t know as well before the lunch,” said Blake Langford ’18.
During the lunch, the seniors heard from Director of Alumni Scott Corrente ’83. Corrente encouraged seniors to stay involved and finish strong academically during their last semester at Brother Martin. He also highlighted how successful first semester has been and the leading legacy the Class of 2018 is leaving behind.
Ryker John Emnace ’18 enjoyed the lunch and stated, “Senior Lunch was a good time to relax before exams. Also, it was great talking to the classmates that I attended Senior Retreat with. We were able to continue great conversations.”
Thank you to our Office of Alumni for a great lunch for our seniors!
