As the Brother Mark Thornton Terrace transformed into a peaceful, prayerful place, our Class of 2018 soon-to-be graduates and their Mothers filled the rows for an evening prayer service. The smiles and hugs all around the room painted a beautiful portrait of the bonds that have been formed over the last four (or five) years with the Class of 2018 families during their Brother Martin journey.
On Monday evening, Brother Martin hosted the annual Mother-Son Prayer Service & Dinner for the members of the Class of 2018 and their mothers. The special evening started with a Prayer Service in the Terrace led by Mr. Thomas Baier and Mr. Gerald Ursin III ‘07, Directors of Campus Ministry. During the Prayer Service, each senior presented his mother with a personalized letter of gratitude and love, bringing tears to the eyes of many Crusader moms. Following the Prayer Service, a delicious dinner, prepared by the Brother Martin Food Service Staff, was served by Crusader Ambassadors and members of the faculty in the Benson Mall. Romaguera Photography was also available for mothers to get one last formal photo with their Crusader before graduation. While all of the seniors and their mothers enjoyed dinner together, the Mall was filled with a baby picture contest. Our Crusader guests wrapped up their evening with a fun game of Crusader Bingo, called by Mr. Thomas Baier.
Thank you to all of the seniors and their mothers who attended our annual event! Brother Martin is so happy to celebrate this milestone with your son and family.
