On Saturday evening, May 26, the Cor Jesu Class of 1968 and their guests celebrated their 50-year class reunion. Earlier in the year, the committee, which consisted of Vincent Bologna, Robert Brunet, Gary Deleamont, Greg Haro, Brian Johnson, Pat Levy, Stephen Pierce, Frank Traub, Larry Tusa, & Frank Whittaker, met with Director of Alumni Scott Corrente ’83 to help plan this ‘golden’ event at Southport Hall. With full attendance and great weather, alumni and their guests were treated to a tasty buffet and an assortment of beverages.
Alumni and their guests reminisced about graduating 50 years ago on May 24, 1968, at St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Church in Gentilly with 108 graduating seniors. They were the twelfth graduating Class from Cor Jesu. Guests also traveled back in time as they looked through former Cor Jesu memorabilia provided by the Brother Martin Alumni Office. They also received an assortment of promotional gifts which revealed their ‘crimson & gold’ spirit!
Thank you to the members of the Class of 1968 and their guests for celebrating a golden reunion!
