On Tuesday, October 25th, the Brother Martin Chorus had the unique opportunity to work with noted British composer and conductor Bob Chilcott. The Chorus is currently working on their second concert work composed by him. Mr. Chilcott led a workshop with the chorus class, working on tone, vocal production, and his work “Jubilate,” which the chorus is preparing for their December concert. After that, the Chorus class joined with the Mount Carmel Academy Chorale for a combined hour-long workshop with Mr. Chilcott. At the end of the workshop, Mr. Chilcott autographed scores for many of the students.
