Congratulations to the following students in Chorus who participated in the State Vocal Rally at Louisiana State University (LSU). Students diligently prepared vocal solos and a quartet performance, and their performances were judged using a variety of criteria. Those criteria included literature selection, intonation, tone quality, balance and blend, phrasing and expression, accuracy, and diction.
Andrew Butler ’18, Brent Clement ’17 and Antonio Domino ’17 received superior ratings for their prepared vocal solos. Trey Andrews ’17 received an excellent rating for his solo. Trey Andrews, Andrew Butler, Brent Clement, and Antonio Domino also received a superior rating for their quartet performance.
