Congratulations to the following Chorus members who were selected to the Louisiana ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) Men’s All-State Honor Choir: Keelan Didier ‘19, Hunter Dunn ‘19, and Robbie McDonald ‘19. Congratulations also to Kolbe Peters ‘23 for his selection to the Louisiana ACDA Youth Mixed All-State Honor Choir. For the audition, the applicants submitted a recording of their respective audition songs to be scored by a panel of judges. Their recordings were judged against recordings received from across the state.

In early November, they will participate in rehearsals and concert performances with the LA ACDA Men’s All-State Choir (under the direction of Dr. Gary Packwood from Mississippi State University) and the LA ACDA Youth Mixed All-State Honor Choir (under the direction of Philip Keirstead from Marsteller Middle School in Prince William County, Virginia). The performances will coincide with the 2018 Louisiana ACDA Fall Vocal Conference in New Orleans.
