Congratulations to the Chorus for their performance in the LMEA Regional Music Performance Assessment held on Thursday, April 21. The Chorus received the Sweepstakes award for straight superior ratings in concert performance and in sight reading. The singers received commendations from the judges for their tone, their sense of ensemble, and their artistry.
In addition, Andrew Butler ’16 and Alex Lucas ’16 performed at the State Vocal Rally this past Saturday at LSU. Their prepared vocal solos were judged based upon a variety of criteria including tone, intonation, diction, technique, interpretation, and musical effect, and both received the highest possible rating of Superior. Congratulations!
