During the next few weeks, all Chemistry students will be conducting an experiment to learn how to silver plate glass ornaments. The process is an advanced technique that dives into deeper concepts of how ions form complexes. These complexes then are able to cause, in this case, silver to form on the inside of the glass ornaments. The students will then be able to bring these ornaments home and use them to decorate their own Christmas tree.
