Congratulations to the Crusader cheerleaders for a great performance at the UCA National Cheer Championship this past weekend in Orlando, FL. The Crusaders placed fourth in the Large Varsity Co-Ed Division, which is the most competitive and difficult division in this championship. On Friday evening, the cheerleaders also were invited to practice on the “football field” between the hotel buildings at the All-Star Sports complex, where they stayed. This was a great opportunity to let other teams see ‘Crusader Spirit’ in action.
As the ‘season’ for cheerleaders never ends, Brother Martin will hold tryouts for the 2017-2018 team on February 21 and 23. The mandatory clinic is on Tuesday, February 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Then, tryout judging will take place on Thursday, February 23 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Both nights take place in the Robert M.
