The Brother Martin community rallied together for its final pep rally of the school year. Spirits were soaring as all of the spring sports were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments throughout their seasons. The Golf team finished in the top three at the District meet, Tennis came away with 2nd place at Regionals, Track claimed its 4th straight district title, and Bowling completed a perfect season going undefeated while on their way to a District and State championship. The bowling team was introduced by head coach Mr. Bruce Himbert ’78 before presenting the trophy to Mr. Rando. The Crusader Band and Cheerleaders kept the crowd on their feet playing some of today’s current hits, and Mr. Thomas treated the crowd to a very special dance of his own. In keeping with the spring sports theme, Mr. Casadaban defeated junior Blair Frederick in a ping pong match for the coveted Student/Teacher Competition title.
To close out the morning, Student Council President Nolan Lambert and Vice President Patrick Quinn gave their closing remarks as leaders ceremoniously passing on the torch.
