The Novice, Symphonic, and Concert Bands, under the direction of Dominick Caronna ’85 and Chris Bailey ’86, held their annual Christmas Concert this week in the Conlin Gymnasium. Beginner musicians and expert performers used their talents on a variety of holiday pieces, including David Martin’s arrangement of “Fanfare on Good King Wenceslas” and Chip Davis’s arrangement of “Veni, Veni.” Highlights of the evening included several student arrangements: senior Chris Moran arranged and performed, on drum, “Angels We Have Heard Down in Paris,” accompanied by Steven Heurtin on trumpet and Beau Bujol on flute. The entire band performed senior Brandon Gaillot’s adaptation of Michael Kamen’s theme to Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Congratulations, Crusader Band members, on your great holiday performance!
