Wednesday afternoon, Brother Martin held a Geography Bee in the Library for the 8 sections of World Geography. Individuals from Mrs. Williams’, Mr. Vicknair’s, and Coach Dauterive’s classes competed in class competitions and then faced off to determine the school-wide winner. After a thrilling competition, Grant Strohmeyer from Mr. Vicknair’s class was crowned as the school champion and Patrick Newburger was competition runner-up. Grant will now take a written test to qualify him to compete in the National Geography Bee state competition in Baton Rouge. Congratulations and good luck!
