The entire Brother Martin community gathered this week in the Conlin Gymnasium for the annual “Call to Leadership” Mass, during which outgoing Student Council President Ken Newburger presented the ceremonial shield to newly elected Student Council President Michael Maldonado as the symbolic turning over of school leadership to the Class of 2013. Principal Greg Rando ’77 challenged the students to display caring leadership in all their endeavors. Additionally, new Ministers of Holy Communion were inducted into their ministry. Special guests were chorale members from Mt. Carmel Academy. This Mass marks the last school wide Mass of the 2011-2013 school year. Seniors, members of the Class of 2012, will gather at St. Dominic Church on Sunday, May 20th for the Graduation Liturgy.
