The Crusader Basketball team (4-2) opened the Newman Invitational with a 81-73 win over Baker High School of Mobile, AL. The team was led by senior Venjie Wallis (28 points, 9 rebounds), sophomore Bruce-Jordan Swilling (18 points, 11 rebounds), senior Luke Walker (10 points), and sophomore Vejon Wallis grabbed 10 rebounds.
The Crusaders will be back in action this afternoon at 5:00 pm against Helen Cox.
