Two of our Crusaders won first and second place in the Historic New Orleans Collection's writing competition...

Two of our 8th grade Crusaders won top honors in the Historic New Orleans Collection's annual student writing contest. The topic this year was "It's Mardi Gras Morning!" Students were asked to write a story of life in New Orleans on Fat Tuesday morning of at least 500 words.

Bryce Tujague won first place with his story "Rando's Quest for King Cake," and Cooper Dillard won second place with his story "Gumbo, the Nutria." Each winner received a cash prize from the HNOC.

Congratulations to our Crusaders for this achievement!
