We would like to congratulate the Brother Martin Track and Field Team for their success in the Region 3-5A meet last week.
Qualifying for the state meet were Sophomore Easton Royal with a 2nd place finish in the 100 meter dash, Junior Brady Allen with a 2nd place finish in the javelin, Senior Jack Collins with a 3rd place finish in the 1600 meter run, and Senior Noah Mooney with a 3rd place finish in the 3200 meter run.
Qualifying for the state meet was the 4 x 800 meter relay squad comprised of Freshman Carson Mills, Sophomore Brayden Bulloch, Junior Will Lionnet, and Senior Devon Waterfield.
Also qualifying for the state meet and breaking a 38-year-old school record was the 4 x 100 meter relay comprised of Sophomore Easton Royal and Juniors Kaeden Goodman, Dale Zauner, and Jack Melancon.
The team finished the meet in 3rd place and was bolstered by strong performances from Senior Nico Paulin, 5th in the discus; Senior Caleb Smith, 4th in the shot put; Senior Dante Ascani, 4th in the pole vault; Senior Braeden Dunne, 4th in the 1600 meter run; Junior Anders Maitrejean, 4th in the 3200 meter run; Junior Carson Kenney, 5th in the 400 meter dash; Sophomore Owen Moller, 6th in the long jump; and Sophomre Easton Royal, 4th in the 200 meter dash.
