Brother Martin handled Rummel 53-34 on Jan. 2 in Metairie in the district opener for both teams. The Crusaders won both meetings last season and have won six straight against Rummel.
Former Brother Martin head coach Scott Thompson, who guided the Crusaders to the Class 5A state championship in 2010, returns to Conlin Gymnasium as the head coach of the Raiders.
