Congratulations to Brother Martin Senior Noah Dobson ’27 for earning a perfect 36 composite score on the September 2026 ACT! This is an impressive achievement as fewer than 0.3% of students tested annually earn a 36 on the ACT. Earlier this year, Noah was also recognized as a National Merit Semifinalist for his performance on the PSAT.
In addition to these impressive academic achievements, Noah has already earned several accolades during his high school career, including an Academic Letterman on the Principal’s Honor Roll, a College Board School Recognition Award recipient, Brother Martin’s Harvard Prize Book recipient, and an AP Scholar with Honor. Noah has also participated in the District and State Literary Rally in multiple subjects.
Noah’s accomplishments extend beyond the classroom as he is actively involved in the Pen and Sword Literary Magazine, Mu Alpha Theta, Excalibur National Honor Society for Excellence in Science, National Honor Society, Culinary Crusaders, and the School of Rock House Band.
Noah commented, “The test prep courses offered at Brother Martin encouraged me to practice skills I might not have practiced on my own, which ultimately helped me score well on the test.” He also believes that the instruction that he received in rigorous AP English and math courses gave him the knowledge he needed to master the content tested on the ACT.
Noah, who is a Brother Martin Academic Scholarship recipient, graduated from St. Pius X Catholic School before coming to Brother Martin for 8th grade. Next year, he hopes to enroll in Belmont University's pre-med program and eventually attend medical school.
Congratulations on this remarkable achievement, Noah!
