Bruce Jordan- Swilling ’17 grabbed two honors this week for his performance as a football player. He was named to the MaxPreps Defensive Preseason All-American team. Swilling was also named to the watch list for the high school Butkus Award, given to the nation’s top prep linebacker. Swilling does not play linebacker for the Crusaders, but will consider playing the position in college. He will continue to play running back for the 2016 season as a Crusader. Swilling is a top recruit from various colleges including LSU, Alabama, USC, Oklahoma, UCLA, Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, and Florida State.
