Wednesday, April 11, was no ordinary Wednesday for the members of the Brother Martin community! Alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends of Brother Martin flocked over to Lafayette Square for the popular Wednesday at the Square event, sponsored by the Young Leadership Council of New Orleans. This concert series and networking event runs from March to June every year and is always a Crusader favorite during the spring.
Before the live entertainment began, Crusader alumnus Ben Gootee ’01 had the honor of welcoming the large crowd of guests and introducing the band, Flow Tribe, featuring K.C. O’Rorke ’04, Russell Olschner ’04, Mario Palmisano ’04, Bryan Santos ’04, John Michael Early, and Chad Penot. Anthony Bovenzi ’05 was also present and serves as the tour manager and sound engineer. In addition, under the Brother Martin tent, attendees enjoyed complimentary mini-muffalettas provided by Raymond Yakelis ’06 and Sysco Foods, finger sandwiches, and beverages.
