Brother Martin: Remote Learning Information

Dear Students & Parents,

Brother Martin High School has moved to a remote learning platform beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

We will use Monday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 17 to allow your family to prepare for this important transition. Remote classes will begin on Wednesday, March 18 at 8:00 a.m. Required course expectations and attendance procedures for each of your classes will be communicated via Schoology by your individual teachers. It is imperative that students check their Brother Martin school email and Schoology account for communication on a daily basis moving forward. Students are reminded to download the free Schoology app if they have a personal cell phone as an additional access point. I will provide a link as a “Schoology Update” later this evening that provides a guide to Remote Learning at Brother Martin. You can also access that document by clicking this link.

Remote learning for all students will begin on Wednesday, March 18, beginning at 8:00 a.m. During the suspension of classes on campus, all school events, including athletic practices and competitions are postponed until further notice.

I know that you probably have questions and concerns. We may not have all of the answers as we grapple with the fluidity and ever-changing nature of this particular situation, but we will do all that we can and all that we must in working in partnership with you.  I also ask that we all continue to pray for a speedy conclusion to the impact of the Coronavirus, that God’s wisdom guides all of our government officials and health care workers as they lead us through this crisis, and for respite for those suffering from the effects of this virus.

Sincerely,

Ryan Gallagher '00
Principal
